I also feel like it smells better and melts and blends into the skin better but I dont know. I bought this as a sort of night cream in an attempt to get rid of it, and I do think that it helped to get it under control. Before this I was using Nip + Fab's Viper Venom Night Cream and it just doesn't even compare in terms of keeping my skin hydrated.>>>>>>>
